Grill burger patties traditionally and melt cheese slices on top.
In a medium skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add garlic and cook 1-2 minutes. Add cabbage and salt and cook, stirring often until cabbage is wilted, about 8-10 minutes. Add apple cider vinegar, turn down heat to medium low and cook 5-8 additional minutes.
Serve slaw warm on top of grilled Huli Huli burgers.
