Cherries with Burrata and Pistachios

Only have a few minutes and a whole party to please? Try this simple, delectable medley of halved cherries, chopped pistachios, and mint leaves over creamy burrata balls.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound cherries, washed

  • 8 ounce burrata cheese

  • 1 tablespoon pistachios, chopped

  • Olive oil

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Fresh mint and basil leaves, washed and roughly chopped

Directions

  1. Drain burrata with a paper towel. For a creamier texture, allow burrata to come to room temperature. Tear into chunks and place them on a platter. 
  2. Cut cherries in half and remove pits with a paring knife or a cherry pitter and scatter over burrata. 
  3. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper to taste. 
  4. Top with pistachios, fresh mint, and basil, then serve with your choice of New Seasons Market hand-made artisan bread!
