Wedge Salad
Savor all sorts of flavors and textures—crisp iceberg lettuce, tangy blue cheese, crumbly bacon bits—together in one refreshing recipe.

Ingredients

Blue Cheese Dressing

  • 1/2 cup sour cream

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise

  • 2 tablespoon buttermilk

  • 1 garlic clove, peeled

  • 1/2 cup blue cheese, finely crumbled

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Salad

  • 1 cup of cherry tomatoes, washed and halved

  • 1 large head of iceberg lettuce, washed and cut into 4 wedges

  • 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled ¼ cup chives, washed and sliced (for garnish)

  • Pickled Onions (for topping)

Directions

  1. In a food processor add sour cream, mayonnaise, buttermilk, garlic, salt, and pepper. Blend until smooth. Stir in blue cheese crumbles.  
  2. To serve, top each iceberg wedge with blue cheese dressing, bacon, cherry tomatoes, and pickled onions. Garnish with chives and enjoy!
