  • Serving Size

    4

  • Total Time

    6 hours 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 pears (we recommend D’Anjou or Bartlett) , washed and diced

  • 3 tablespoon New Seasons Maple Syrup or honey, divided

  • 2 cup old-fashioned rolled oats

  • 2 cup milk of your choice

  • 2/3 cup Greek yogurt

  • 2 tablespoon chia seeds

  • 2 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • Pinch of salt

Optional Ingredients

  • granola, hemp seeds, nut butter, chopped nuts

Directions

  1. Heat a medium-sized pan over medium heat and add diced pears, 2 tbsp maple syrup, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Cook for about 10 minutes or until pears are slightly softened.

  2. Remove from heat and set aside ½ cup of the softened pear mixture. Store remaining pear mixture in the fridge.

  3. In a large bowl, combine half of the cooked pear mixture with oats, milk, Greek yogurt, chia seeds, and 1 tbsp maple syrup.

  4. Evenly divide oatmeal mixture into four separate jars. Cover and place jars in the fridge overnight or until set.

  5. To finish, top each jar with the reserved pear mixture and toppings of your choice. Enjoy!
