Nourish Our Neighbors: New Seasons Annual Fundraising Event

It’s time once again for New Seasons’ annual Nourish Our Neighbors fundraising event and donation match! See how you can help us make a big impact toward creating greater food access and equity in our communities

At New Seasons Market, we believe everyone deserves access to healthy, affordable, and culturally relevant food. Yet in Oregon, 1 in 5 people experience food insecurity—and that number is even higher in BIPOC communities.

Addressing the root cause of hunger requires a comprehensive approach that involves tackling issues such as housing, education, employment, and marginalization. We're committed to doing our part to help create greater food security in the neighborhoods we serve by supporting local organizations addressing hunger and food inequity in three major areas: food access, environmental action and justice, and neighborhood education.

We support local nonprofits year-round through a variety of community-driven fundraising programs—including Nourish Our Neighbors.

Each May, we welcome a new group of local nonprofits focused on addressing food insecurity to receive New Seasons fundraising support for the year ahead.

We kick off these partnerships with our Nourish Our Neighbors match week event, our annual week-long fundraiser where we match customer donations to boost community impact.

We invite you to take part in Nourish Our Neighbors event by donating at the register during checkout, May 13 – 19. Every dollar you give is matched by us, up to $42,000!

This annual event is only possible because of generous, community-minded customers like you—and we’re incredibly grateful.

So, ready to meet this year’s recipients?

New Seasons’ Mission Advisory Council served as the selection committee for our Nourish Our Neighbors community partners. Using a detailed scorecard and rubric, the council reviewed nonprofit applications based on their impact in three key areas: food access, environmental action and justice, and neighborhood education.

Narrowing it down to just ten recipients wasn’t easy—but we’re proud to support this incredible group of organizations making a real difference in our communities:
