It’s time for our Fall Recycling Event! We’ve teamed up once again with James Recycling to collect your hard-to-recycle plastics not accepted in curbside bins. Learn more about this incredible partner making it all possible—and join us to keep waste out of landfills.
At New Seasons, waste reduction is a big deal, and as a cornerstone of our mission, we're always looking for ways to cut down on waste—from our everyday practices to the programs we offer the community.
That's why our spring and fall recycling drives, in partnership with James Recycling, are some of our favorite events of the year.
Together, we collect thousands of pounds of plastics not accepted in curbside bins, keeping valuable material out of landfills.
We've partnered with James Recycling since 2021 to make these drives possible, and we're excited to introduce you to the people behind this incredible organization.
James Recycling is a nonprofit dedicated to finding solutions for hard-to-recycle plastics—while creating meaningful jobs for adults with developmental differences to find independence and purpose through meaningful employment.
At the heart of it all is James Harris. Diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder at age four, James has faced plenty of challenges but found his calling in protecting the environment. Now 27, James and his mother, Kathi Goldman, have transformed that passion into purpose, helping the community recycle more while showing just how big an impact one organization can make towards a more sustainable future.
You can find James and the team at James Recycling here:
