Portobello Pizza Sliders



  • 3 large portobello mushrooms
  • 1/2-1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 small onion, cut into rings
  • 1 tablespoon ghee or coconut oil
  • 4-5 kale leaves, chopped


  1. Pre-heat oven to 375°F. Rinse and de-stem mushrooms and place on baking tray or in heat-proof glass dish. Bake for 10 minutes, pour off any accumulated liquid. Flip mushrooms and bake another 10 minutes or until mushrooms are tender. While the mushrooms are baking, get pizza sauce ready and cook onions in ghee or coconut oil. Top baked mushrooms with sauce, onions, and kale. Bake for another 7-10 minutes.
