We’ve always believed that giving back to our communities is the right thing to do. That’s why we donate 10% of our after-tax profits to local nonprofit organizations. To make sure our efforts have impact, we keep our focus on three key areas: Fighting hunger, supporting our schools, and promoting environmental conservation.
We give year-round to local food banks, pantries, and gleaning programs.
Each of our stores partners with a local hunger relief nonprofit to accept donations at the register.
Most of our stores operate Meals on Wheels routes, bringing hot food and warm smiles to homebound seniors.
We give directly to local schools foundations, and help provide classroom supplies directly to teachers.
We help raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for neighborhood through our Cans for Kids program.
New Seasons Market donates 5% of scrip card purchases to partnering schools.
PROTECTING THE ENVIRONMENT
Through the years, our donations have helped to protect urban trees, local wetlands, forests and wildlife.
Our staff gets their hands dirty to clean up local parks—of both neighborhood and National varieties!
Our support of local farmers’ markets, and educational farm programs, helps to keep sustainable agriculture viable in every region we serve.
