Every year our staff organizes a winter wishes drive for Neighborhood House with monthly at-register donations. For the past two years, our Green Team has volunteered with Bridlemile Elementary School’s Styrofoam Drive. We host Raleigh Hills Business Association meetings and on Valentine’s Day, we’ve partnered with Equal Exchange for a fair-trade chocolate tasting at Oregon Episcopal School. During the holidays, staff members contribute to the Holiday Wish Drive.
Bag It Forward partners: Sisters of the Road, Xerces Society and Children’s Book Bank.
A leading Portland non-profit social service provider, Neighborhood House delivers innovative and life-changing programs for low-income people of all ages. Because of the generous donations of our Raleigh Hills customers, we have been able to work with Neighborhood House to help prepare children for success in school and life, help families move beyond poverty, and support seniors to continue living independently.
First things first: Liz Utter is a people person. That’s why the role of community coordinator is perfect for her: she gets to work with the giving neighborhood where she lives. When she’s not helping New Seasons Market make an impact in the Raleigh Hills community, Liz loves to garden, cook and fine-tune her talents as a child and animal whisperer.
