We host tours for grade school students throughout the year.
We love to teach local kids about healthy, nutritious eating, where their food comes from, what organic means, and of course, how a grocery store operates!
Bag It Forward partners: Farmers Ending Hunger, Tualatin Hills Nature Park and Playworks.
Oregon Food Bank works with a cooperative, statewide network of partner agencies to distribute food to hungry families. Through the generous donations of our Cedar Hills customers, we have been able to assist in both delivering emergency food to hunger-relief agencies in Washington County, and, at the same time, help fight hunger’s root causes.
Jenny loves the fact that the Cedar Hills store was
originally built as a roller rink—and that she skated there as a tween, back in
the days of disco, Sea Breeze and Bonne Bell. Jenny lives for making
connections between wildly disparate groups in the Cedar Hills community, where
often, New Seasons Market is the common link between groups. When Jenny’s not
working as a community coordinator, she spends time with her family made up of
lovely and talented daughters, a fashionable taxidermied armadillo named Armand
and a Chiweenie named Ziva.
