Paul Earle has worked with food from almost every angle. “I’ve done everything from bussing tables, bartended at Wolfgang Puck’s Eureka, and ran three bakeries for Grand Central Bakery,” he said. He also managed our Mountain Park Online Shopping department from September 2007 to January 2010.


And now he’s embarking on a new adventure – running our entire Online Shopping program.


“I really like that New Seasons Market is a human company. It makes food fun and educates people. I want to continue doing that,” he said.


His love for food brought him and his wife together while working for Wolfgang Puck in Los Angeles. In 1999 they made the move to Portland to continue working around their passion for food and wine. Paul started as a counter clerk at Grand Central Bakery’s NE Weidler location, then quickly moved his way up to managing the entire location. The company expanded into North Portland and asked him to run the Fremont location. He jumped on the opportunity.


Then when he saw we needed someone to run the Online Shopping department at Mountain Park, he couldn’t resist wanting to explore what we were about.


“I had always been a customer and really wanted to continue working for a local company,” he said.


When he’s not making sure our delivery service is running smoothly, he’s spending time with his kids Henry and Clara. “I make a lot of lunches, read them a lot of books and tuck them into bed.”


Favorite meal: “Anything as long as it’s with my family.”
