Thankfully, the only rumbling today is talk about the newest store in town – New Seasons Market Mountain Park. Our seventh store opened here in April 2006.

However, young and old alike would probably agree that the most exciting feature in this beautiful new store is the gelato stand, featuring eight sublime hand-dipped flavors to choose from. Ever wonder what makes gelato different from ice cream? Gelato is made without eggs, which means less cholesterol. Why, it’s practically health food! Gelato maker David Feinstein of Eugene is the mastermind behind the sweet goodness, and in the Portland area his gelato can only be found at New Seasons Market.

We also feature a Deli seating area with ample space to enjoy a fresh cup of locally brewed Stumptown Coffee while reading your morning paper. When you’re done with your cup of Joe, this bright and airy store has aisles that are extra wide, so take your time and browse to your heart’s content.

A common theme running through the staff at all of our stores is our passion for giving back to our neighbors in the community. Shortly after we opened Mountain Park, our staff co-hosted an event promoting better food in schools and a large group of us started serving seniors at the nearby Adult Community Center on the first Friday of every month.

Speaking of food… we’re getting hungry just thinking about the succulent local peaches in our Produce Department, the slow-roasted free range chicken in our Deli, and the abundant variety of Home Grown items that comprise our grocery staples.
