Located along side the wild and scenic Deschutes River in Bend, Oregon sits a microbrewery committed to building a healthy society one beer at a time. Their plan of action is based on core values of respect, empowerment, accountability, quality, understanding, community and of course the celebration of beer!

Along with Deschutes Brewing Company’s celebration of beer comes the celebration of Central Oregon’s geography. The Cascade Ale is nice and clean, celebrating the clear waters of the mountain range; Mirror Pond is a little deeper in color, reflecting the beauty in landscape around downtown Bend; Inversion IPA, just like the mountains, takes you to a higher place; Bachelor ESB is the brewery’s highest regarded brew; the Black Butte Porter is as dark and rich as Black Butte Mountain’s rivers; and the Obsidian Stout is smooth and dark like  the area’s volcanic rock.

Not only are they obsessed with the land and water that make up some of the beauty around Bend, but they get super into the seasons too. Lucky for us beer connoisseurs, because they use the inspiration of their natural surroundings when crafting their  drinkable delights. The hard working days of spring brings out the Buzzsaw Brown Ale, the Twilight brew comes out when the summer sun turns to twilight, Jubelale comes along with the fall and winter celebrations, and the Cinder Cone comes out in the late winter.
